Purpose Projects
We aim to undertake purposeful projects in the places we visit, specifically focusing on initiatives that benefit the local community in various ways. These projects may involve assisting individuals, supporting the environment, or addressing other specific aspects of the chosen location. To identify the most suitable project, we will actively engage with the local communities, attentively listening to their expressed needs and concerns.
Let's help others!
Restful Nights for Rwanda
This Purpose Project comes from the beautiful country of Rwanda. It’s very hard to describe how open-hearted Rwandans are. I was quite humbled by their hospitality and generosity. Many Rwandans work in the country, and they work extremely hard. We visited a village that was near the Volcanoes National Park. Despite not knowing us, these families freely invited us into their homes.
They describe their mission as helping people who are unable to meet their basic food needs.
Wounaan Tribe in The Darien Jungle
The Wounaan tribe we visited in The Darien jungle, faces unique challenges due to its remote location and exposure to the elements.
Temperatures were above 90 degrees every day we were there, along with 80 to 90 percent humidity.
To improve their living conditions and offer much-needed protection, we would like to initiate a Purpose Project to build a sun shelter for the Wounaan community.
Buenos Vecinos de Boquete
Buenos Vecinos means “good neighbor” and Buenos Vecinos de Boquete (BVB) is a group of expats in Boquete Panama that are working to ensure that the local indigenous people have enough food to sustain themselves.
They describe their mission as helping people who are unable to meet their basic food needs.
